EUROPEAN
NETWORK ON
DIGITALIZATION AND
E-GOVERNANCE

The aim of ENDE network is to contribute to the implementation of the European digital transition,

which aims to make the EU a fair and prosperous society with a modern, resource, efficient and competitive economy, with no digital barriers for the future, where economic growth is decoupled from the use of digital resources

ENDE network contributes to the creation of a large thematic network in Higher Education addressing Jean Monnet Policy Debate: Internal EU issues: Digital Transformation in Europe. ENDE contributions develop, demonstrate and promote innovative techniques, methods and approaches to achieve EU policy objectives, build a knowledge base and apply best practices. Support the development and implementation of EU digital action policies, including by improving e-governance at all levels, in particular through capacity building of public and private sector actors and civil society engagement.

ENDE mainly contributes to Shaping Europe’s digital future, which involves improving governance through capacity building of public and private sector actors and civil society engagement.

Development of tools and research, including concrete and specific actions for the implementation of these tools and research during the duration of the project. Finally, ENDE network contributes also to the Digital Agenda for Europe, the widespread, rapid and extensive development of digital service platforms, as well as debates on public data spaces and new technologies such as artificial intelligence, affect all areas of our society. Many new ways to communicate, shop or access information online have been integrated into our daily lives and are constantly evolving. The European digital agenda for the decade 2020-2030 addresses these issues by focusing on creating secure digital spaces and services, creating a level playing field in digital markets with large platforms and strengthening Europe’s digital sovereignty, while contributing to the European goal of climate neutrality by 2050. Our network will complement these priorities by research and new innovative tools for their correct implementation at the European level.
